I am so aware of my helplessness – my hope is in God alone. When you realize that nothing you can say or do can make another person believe what you believe, or see things as clearly as you do, or embrace truth, then you are driven to your knees. In Ecclesiastes, King Solomon described a life without God as having no meaning. He said that life without God was all vanity, chasing after the wind, and meaningless. I can attest to the truth of that, and realize with all humility that only by His grace, have I seen and understood this. I’m a wretched, horrible sinner and any goodness in me points to Christ and Him alone. Oh Lord, have mercy on those you have created. I especially ask for those in my own family, that each one would seek after You. Help us O Lord. Have mercy I pray. All the glory will be Yours.
